As many of you know I have finished my time at the School of Promise in Thailand. I am now back in the States looking at life on this side of the world again. I'm excited for this new chapter in life and for the lessons the Lord is teaching me here. I appreciate your reading about my life in Thailand, and I invite you to join me in this part of my life as well.

Countdown
Well the countdown is almost done, there are only eight days before I start travelling. I just wanted to say thank you for the overwhelming support (financial and emotional) I've received from everyone. I could not have made it this far without each and every one of you. A very good friend of mine recently shared with me some good advice she had read. "Fear says: Don't move. You might fail. You can't do it. You'll never make it. But Faith says: With God, you can do it. He will bring good out of even your failures. Choose to trust him. Let go of your fears." I am banking on the fact that God does not need me to be perfect or do everything just right, His plans will be accomplished in spite of my mistakes and that gives me great comfort. A verse that comes to mind is one of my aunt's favorites Isaiah 55:10-11. "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."
